As an introduction, intermission, and farewell, we commissioned River Yarra to imagine a sound installation that will play throughout the event in the foyer and bar of the HAVE/NEED Forum.
River Yarra is the moniker of Raudie McLeod, a producer and a DJ, who spawned upstream from Melbourne’s Yarra River in a quiet, leafy suburb. His music is rooted in rhythm and experimentation developed in his classical percussion studies, with an output that slides across an entrancing range of tempos and styles.
